BosunCAM is my website showing images and videos taken mainly at Essex Land Rover Club (ELRC) events. These have so far been mainly limited to TYROs, (beginners trials), but are now starting to include RTVs (Road Taxed Vehicle Trials). This is because of Sue's addition to the family - her 1961 Series II Truck Cab - TRUCKLE. All of the older images have been taken whilst using BOSUN, my Series III SWB, or FILBERT, our 300TDI Discovery.

BOSUN got his name because of his number plate. When we first saw him his plate read ...805N which looked like BOSUN in the sales photo. He has had plenty of work since to get him up to scratch with extras such as Chequer Plate protection, Overdrive, CB etc. plus the usual Landy maintainence issues of core plugs, brakes, removal of roofrack for trials and laning, brakes, door lock repairs, brakes, lights, more lights, and oh! did I mention brakes!!. Luckily with a Galvanised Chassis that's one area I don't have to worry too much about.

Sue's Landy is known as TRUCKLE. This is because he is a Truck Cab and for any Discworld fans out there he is named after Truckle the Uncivil from the Terry Pratchett books! He is also very blue with a nice red rollcage. Not easy to miss down a dark lane! One of the first things we bought after Sue started trialling him was a harness to keep her safe in her seat. A lap belt is really not up to the way she wants to drive.
